1 Dead, 2 Injured After Semi-Truck Crashes Into Tampa Strip Club: Cops
A person is accused of driving a semi-truck into the entrance of a FL gentleman's club after being kicked out of the club Tuesday.
TAMPA, FL — A club attendee is being accused of crashing a semi-truck into the front of an East Adamo Drive gentleman's club Tuesday, killing one man and injuring two others, Tampa Police said.
Officers responded to the scene around 4:15 a.m. Police said the driver, who they said had been kicked out of the club, returned to the club's parking lot and drove the truck into a group of people who were at the club's entrance.
The man who was killed in the crash was not identified. The two men who were injured are expected to survive their injuries, police said.

“This is an unbelievably tragic and completely avoidable incident," Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said in a news release. "We will work to get justice for the victims and their families. We are thinking of all those impacted including the innocent bystanders who witnessed this horrific ordeal.”
The driver, who police said was hospitalized in critical but stable condition, was taken into police custody. Possible charges are unknown, and police did not identify the driver.
