TAMPA, FL — A 23-year-old Tampa man is dead following a Sunday night shooting.  According to Tampa Police, Chad Pierson and another man got out of a car together near Albany Avenue and West St. John Street around 10 p.m. Sunday. Police say someone fired shots at Pierson, who tried to run toward St. Conrad and Albany.  Pierson, however, was shot and later died from his injuries, an email from the agency said.  The shooting isn't believed to be random, police wrote. Detectives think the victim and shooter knew each other.  No further information is being released at this time, including information about a possible suspect or motive.  Image via Shutterstock
