10th-Grader Accused Of Bringing Knife To FL High School
A knife was found in the backpack of a 16-year-old boy at a Hillsborough County high school, the sheriff's office said.

WIMAUMA, FL — A 10th-grade student at Aquilla J. Morgan High School in Wimauma was arrested Friday afternoon for bringing a weapon to campus, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Administrators received a tip just before 2 p.m. that a 16-year-old boy brought a weapon to school.
Though deputies named the suspect, it’s Patch policy not to name minors accused of a crime unless they’ve been charged as an adult. It’s unknown whether he has been charged as a juvenile or an adult.

A 3.5-inch fixed-blade knife was found in the teen’s backpack when he was searched at school, the sheriff’s office said.
He was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon on school property.
