2-Alarm Fire Reported at Tampa Apartment Complex

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is battling a two-alarm blaze at the Cordova apartment complex in Tampa.

TAMPA, FL — A fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon in an apartment building on University Club Drive has been declared a 2-alarm blaze by Hillsborough County Fire Rescue officials.

According to the agency, the fire broke out in the 12700 block of University Club Drive in Tampa at the Cordova apartment complex. The fire is contained to one building, but the agency said multiple units are affected.

Tampa Fire Rescue units had also reported to the scene. As of 6:09 p.m., Dec. 13, Hillsborough officials said progress was being made on containing the blaze.
