2016 Hillsborough County Holiday Events: What To Know Before You Go
From Eat at Joe's to a Holiday Car Show, Hillsborough County has a bit of everything this season.

TAMPA, FL – The holiday season is in full swing, and Hillsborough County is celebrating with several different events.
From the monthly Eat at Joes in Downtown to a car show in Keystone, there’s plenty to do during the holidays at various Hillsborough County recreation areas.
Here’s what area residents need to know before you go to any of the 2016 Hillsborough County holiday events:

Eat at Joe’s Holiday Edition
The Joe Chillura Courthouse Square in downtown Tampa will become a winter wonderland for the last Eat at Joe’s event for 2016. The Eat at Joe’s Holiday Edition will take place Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The lunchtime event will feature holiday music, a Toys for Tots collection, adoptable pets and adoption gift certificates from the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will arrive by firetruck by noon.

Food trucks that are scheduled to be at the Eat at Joe’s Holiday Edition are:
- Rollin Zoinks
- JewBan’s Deli
- Heavy’s Food Truck
- Michelle Faedos
- LeAnn’s Cheesecake
Joe Chillura Courthouse Square is located at 407 N. Morgan St.
Holiday Movie in the Park
The Friends of the County Parks will host a Holiday Movie in the Park on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. at Northdale Park and Recreation Center, 15550 Spring Pine Drive in Tampa. The event is highlighted by a free showing of “Elf” on the big screen. S’mores, hot cocoa and popcorn will be available for purchase.
Keystone Holiday Car Show & Toy Drive
The Keystone Recreation Center, 17928 Gunn Highway in Odessa, will host the Keystone Holiday Car Show & Toy Drive on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The car show will feature classic, exotic and modified cars.
Santa Claus will make a special appearance at the show between 11:30 to 1 p.m. There will also be holiday music, free popcorn and snow cones, plus food vendors. The event will also feature the Family Fun Zone with a bounce house, arts and crafts, and an obstacle course.
In addition to the day’s events, there will also be a toy drive. Guests are welcome to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the children of Joshua House.
