5 Killed In Crash On SR 675: Florida Highway Patrol
SR 674 reopened at about 2 p.m. Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
WIMAUMA, FL — Five people died in a three-vehicle crash Sunday morning on State Road 674 in Wimauma, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 7 a.m. just east of Balm Wimauma Road in Wimauma, troopers said. A westbound Toyota Tacoma entered the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a Chevy Silverado. Troopers said a Chevy S-10 was hit by debris and went into a ditch.
Everyone in the Tacoma was killed, including the driver, a 29-year-old man, and his passengers, a 37-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, troopers said. All four were from Bowling Green.

The driver of the Silverado, a 42-year-old man from Wimauma, also died, according to troopers. One passenger, a 40-year-old man from Wimauma, was seriously injured, while another, a 43-year-old man from Wimauma, was not hurt, troopers said. The S-10's driver, a 59-year-old man from Mulberry, also was not injured.
SR 674 reopened at about 2 p.m. Sunday, troopers said.
