5 People Hospitalized After Car Engine Left Running In Garage In Tampa
Three people are in critical condition after being exposed to carbon monoxide.
CARROLLWOOD, FL — Five people were hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning after a car was left with the engine running overnight in an enclosed garage Sunday night.
According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, carbon monoxide entered the home on Sugar Pine Way and Black Pine Drive in Carrollwood while three people slept. Two adults visiting the home discovered the house filled with gas.
Those two adults are in stable condition and the three who were sleeping are in critical condition, said the fire rescue.
