A police officer has been fired after being charged with felony counts of sexually battering and falsely imprisoning a tourist he stopped for jaywalking. Former Officer Nicolas Paloma, 29, was arrested after being accused of stopping a 32-year-old woman for jaywalking.

3-Year-Old Dies After Fall From 4th-Story Window

A 3-year-old girl who fell out of the bedroom window of a fourth-floor apartment in Tampa died from her injuries on Wednesday. Tampa police said the toddler fell from the open window, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
