Aldi Hiring Associates, Managers Across Tampa Bay Area

TAMPA, FL – Although the Tampa Bay area’s unemployment rate has been dropping, there are still opportunities for people who are looking for jobs or wish to better their careers.

For those who are seeking employment, the Aldi grocery store chain will be hosting hiring events across the Tampa Bay area during August. Aldi, based in Essen, Germany, is looking to fill store associate, shift manager and manager trainee positions for its Bradenton, Brandon, Lakeland, Largo, Pinellas Park, Plant City, Seminole, St. Petersburg, Sun City Center and Tampa-area locations.

Hiring events will take place on the following dates at the following locations:

Thursday, Aug. 11

• 7 to 11 a.m.: Aldi, 3021 James L. Redman Parkway, Plant City
• 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Courtyard by Marriot, 10152 Palm River Road, Tampa
• 9 a.m. to noon: Aldi, 1177 Missouri Ave., Largo

Friday, Aug. 12

7 to 11 a.m.: Aldi, 47455 U.S. Highway 98 N., Lakeland

Thursday, Aug. 18

7 to 11 a.m.: Aldi, 14933 N. Florida Ave., Tampa

Starting salaries for the open positions are:

• Store associate: $11.50 per hour
• Shift manager: $15.50 per hour
• Manager trainee: $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on location ($22 to $23 per hour averaging 40 to 45 hours per week), with an opportunity to earn $75,000 to $85,000 per year as a store manager

Aldi offers above industry standard compensation for all employees, including full health insurance, dental coverage and 401(k) for staff working at least 25 hours per week.
