Authors to Discuss New Releases at Inkwood Books
Book lovers are invited to meet the authors and get copies of their books signed.

Residents are invited to meet author Charles Martin as he discusses and signs copies of his book, Unwritten, Tuesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at Inkwood Books, 216 S. Armenia Ave., Tampa.
Martin's ninth novel centers around Father Steady Capri, living in an isolated home tucked among the Ten Thousand Islands off the Florida coast. But when Capri finds himself caught up in the problems of world-famous actress Katie Quinn, he must leave his secluded home and sacrifice the serenity he's found to help her. From the Florida coast, they travel to the French countryside where they discover the unwritten story of both their pasts and their future.
Then return to Inkwood Books Saturday, May 18 at 2 p.m. when author Rick Yancey will discuss his young adult thriller, The 5th Wave.

Yancey is the author of several adult novels and the memoir Confessions of a Tax Collector. His first young adult novel, The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp, was a finalist for the Carnegie Medal. In 2010, his novel, The Monstrumologist, received a Michael L Printz Honor, and the sequel, The Curse of the Wendigo, was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
This visit by Yancey will kick off Inkwood's new monthly Teen Book Club. Pizza and drinks will be served.
