Bern's Makes Another Best Steakhouse List

TAMPA, FL - OK, so this is not news to anybody in the Tampa Bay area, but Bern's Steak House is one of the best restaurants for steak. Make that one of the best 31 in the country, according to Thrillist, which bills itself as a men's digital lifestyle brand, providing all that's new, unknown or under-appreciated in food, drink, entertainment, nightlife, gadgets, and gear.

Here is what Thrillist said about Bern's:

"Trendy Miami steakhouses come and go, and meanwhile Bern's is just hanging out there in Tampa like it has been for 60-plus years, serving up flawless cut-and-trimmed to order chateaubriand, preparing its iconic Caesar salad tableside, and presiding over a positively legendary wine cellar. And yes, there's not always room for dessert after an indulgent steakhouse meal, but buck up and make your way to the Harry Waugh Dessert Room after you're done, where you can unwind from your meal and partake in an after-dinner drink and sweetness like banana cheese pie and baked Alaska."

Bern's has won many accolades over the years, including the 2016 Outstanding Wine Program at the James Beard Awards. Bern's is believed to have the largest restaurant wine list in the country.
