I-75 Lanes Back Open To Traffic
Three brush fires forced I-75 lane closings throughout much of Saturday.

TAMPA, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol reports that all northbound lanes of Interstate 75 between Fletcher Avenue and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard had reopened just before 8 p.m. May 6. A status on the three brush fires that prompted the closing was not yet made available.
Earlier in the evening, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue reported the fires had grown to an estimated 200 acres in size as of 5:20 p.m. The fires, however, were considered 90 percent contained as of that time.
