Guests with dogs and dog-lovers alike are invited to bring their pups to Water Street Tampa to enjoy the parade, pet-friendly activities and even a Pirate Pup Costume Contest. Guests can also enjoy face painting, pet caricatures, pet adoptions with Hillsborough Pet Resource Center and more.

Walk the brick streets of <a href="https://www.ybor.org/vic/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Ybor City</a>, where the scent of cigars still lingers in the air and factory whistles once marked the rhythm of daily life. On this guided tour, you’ll pass mutual aid societies, the Ybor Cigar Factory, and other landmarks that shaped the neighborhood’s culture. Your guide will share stories of the people who built this community and the traditions that made Ybor a cornerstone of Tampa’s history.
The 90-minute tour begins at 10 a.m. and covers about a mile along sidewalks and brick avenues. Space is limited to 25 participants, so wear comfortable shoes and be ready to explore.
Reserve your ticket now and experience Ybor City through the streets and buildings that still carry its history. Tours begin at Centro Ybor, 1600 E. 7th Ave., in front of Jimmy John’s. Parking is available on nearby streets and in the Palm Avenue/Fernando Noriega Jr. parking garage. Advance purchase is required, and private tours are available by calling (813) 228-0097. ArtLofts Art Studios and Gallery

You are invited to ALCHEMY, a glass and sculpture group exhibition located at The Artlofts in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.
This show features a magical mixture of mediums including stained glass, casted metal, blown glass, bronze and copper sculpture. Eight local artists’ works are in the showcase: Erin Rohling, Ellie Swick, Jodi Chemes, Eric Folsom, Sarah Ruehmann, Leilani Rogers, Richard Logan, and Gillian Harper.
ALCHEMY will run for the month of January with an opening reception on Saturday, January 10th 5-9pm and a closing reception on Thursday, January 29th 6-9pm.
This exhibition is an extension of a previous sculpture and stained glass show, Glass and Brass, held in September of 2024 at Bayboro Brewing. Both shows have been curated by James E. Hartzell who’s own work is also on view at The Artlofts in Studio 206.
Leon Barickman will be on site playing guitar. Viewing of the show and event attendance are free and open to the public.
