Here are the top five stories in Tampa today:

1. The most expensive house ever sold in Tampa could soon be demolished, according to multiple reports. The house was once home to sports stars Derek Jeter and Tom Brady. Jeter sold the nearly 22,000-square-foot mansion last year for $22.5 million. (Tampa Patch)

2. Tampa City Council unanimously passed a resolution this week supporting the All For Transportation plan on the November 8 ballot. The plan would lead to a 1% sales tax increase in Tampa. "Traffic congestion continues to increase, with the average time Tampa drivers spent stuck in traffic in 2021 hitting 48 hours and rising to the 12th worst congested city in the nation," the resolution says. 3. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) has arrested a music teacher, 34-year-old Jason Troche, for allegedly sexually battering one of his students at Music Showcase located on the 400 block of Oakfield Drive in Tampa. Music Showcase said it has terminated Troche's employment. (ABC Action News)

4. HSCO deputies arrested three people, including a firefighter and Moffitt cancer researcher, on human trafficking charges after a week-long investigation, according to a press release. Brian Street, 50, was a fire lieutenant with the Pinellas Park Fire Department and allegedly was attempting to have a sex with a 14-year-old for $60. All three men are facing numerous charges. 5. Tampa's Historic Preservation Committee has reached an agreement with the developer of a building in downtown Tampa to maintain design components of a historic building that was once Tarr Furniture building, while being permitted to tear it down. It will be known as "One Tampa" tower in the future. (Fox 13 Tampa)
