Daily Thunderstorms Dominate Tampa Bay’s Forecast
Find out what's in store for the Tampa Bay area in the weather department as the workweek continues.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents and visitors hoping for a drier, cooler workweek ahead are out of luck. According to the National Weather Service, strong thunderstorm chances are in the cards each day with highs expected to remain in the 90-degree range.
Organized, severe weather isn’t in the forecast, but the service warns that locally heavy rain, frequent lightning and strong, gusty winds are possible throughout the week. Whether storms this week will be as strong as those that moved through some parts of the Tampa Bay area on Sunday evening, knocking out power to communities in Pasco County and elsewhere, remains to be seen.
