FL Detention Deputy Accused Of Battery On Her Roommate During Argument
A detention deputy at a Hillsborough County jail was arrested after shoving her roommate during an argument, the sheriff's office said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A detention deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has been arrested for battery after an altercation with her roommate, the agency said in a news release.
Samantha Baiocco got into an argument with her roommate that turned physical on Oct. 8 around 10 p.m.
She shoved the victim, who suffered minor injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

Baiocco, who has worked for HCSO for six months, was assigned to a housing unit at Falkenburg Road Jail.
After being arrested, she was fired because of her probationary employment status, the agency said.
