‘Doctor Who’ Fan Art Wanted
The Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library system is calling on 'Doctor Who' fans of all ages to help with a project.
TAMPA, FL — Hillsborough County artists with a passion for Time Lords are being asked to help with a special project. It seems the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library system hopes to kick off its summer reading program with an exhibit of locally produced “Doctor Who” fan art.
With that aim in mind, the county on Tuesday sent out a call for artists – of all ages – to submit work for the exhibition. The library system’s 2017 summer reading program has been dubbed “The Day of the Doctor,” thus the desire for an artistic tribute to the BBC’s longest-running science-fiction series.
