Dog Found Injured, Starving Needs A New Lease On Life

Despite her poor treatment, Wendy has a sweet personality and, once she has the medical care she needs, will make an ideal pet.

TAMPA, FL — When Wendy was found by a good Samaritan and brought to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay a week ago, she was starving and had a nasty wound on her hip.

Unable to tell her caregivers anything about her past or how she came to be injured, emaciated and wandering in Tampa, she communicated the only way she could — with kisses of gratitude.

Despite her poor treatment, Wendy has a sweet personality and, once she has the medical care she needs, will make an ideal pet for a loving family.
