Drivers walked away with only minor injuries following a dramatic pileup on Interstate 4 involving a tractor-trailer truck on Monday.
PLANT CITY, FL — Drivers walked away with only minor injuries following a dramatic pileup on Interstate 4 involving a tractor-trailer truck on Monday.
At 2:30 p.m., a 29-year-old Port St. Lucie woman was driving a car west on I-4 east of Alexander Street followed by a tractor-trailer truck driven by a 37-year-old Brunswick, Georgia, and a pickup truck driven by a 41-year-old Wesley Chapel.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the car blew a tire and the driver lost control. It crashed into the tractor-trailer truck and then the pickup truck struck the rear of the car.
