Driver Tried To Run Down FL Deputies
A driver faces multiple charges after he tried to run down deputies in Hillsborough County, the sheriff's office said.
DOVER, FL — A driver was arrested after trying to run down deputies in Dover on Sunday night, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. (Watch deputy-worn body camera footage from the arrest below.)
Deputies avoided serious injury when Marco Reyes-Diaz, 24, swerved toward them while they were standing near the road during a warrant attempt around 10 p.m.
After fleeing, he was boxed in at a gas station at 15634 East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and taken into custody.

Deputies found two guns, fentanyl, meth, marijuana, cash and hundreds of plastic bags inside his car, the sheriff’s office said.
Reyes-Diaz now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon and armed trafficking in fentanyl.
