Drugs Found In U-Haul Truck During FL Traffic Stop
Two people were arrested after drugs were found in a U-Haul truck pulled over on I-275, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Two people were arrested after deputies found drugs inside a U-Haul truck they pulled over for a traffic stop on Interstate 275, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday afternoon.
During the traffic stop, deputies immediately noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the cargo area.
Inside, they found several marijuana plants, oscillating fans, ventilation systems, fertilizer, water containers, 47 pounds of processed marijuana, 89 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and a loaded gun, the sheriff’s office said.

Steven Robinson, 32, and Candice Slater, 32, were arrested and face multiple felony charges.

Both were charged with own, lease or rent for the purpose of trafficking, selling, or manufacturing a controlled substance; possession of cannabis with intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver; and trafficking in cannabis 25 to 2,000 pounds.
Robinson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver; and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
