Fentanyl-Filled Cigarette Box Thrown From Vehicle During FL Highway Traffic Stop
Two people were arreted after throwing a fentanyl-filled cigarette box from their vehicle during a traffic stop on I-275, HCSO said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A driver and passenger threw a cigarette box filled with fentanyl out the window during a recent traffic stop on Interstate 275, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.
They were pulled over for “traveling way too closely to the vehicle in front of them,” Sheriff Chad Chronister, who was on the scene while assisting the agency’s Drug Interdiction Unit on I-275, said in a video shared to social media. (Watch the video below.)
The Marlboro box was filled with fentanyl powder and pills.
