The state's tax-free sales holiday runs from August 1 until August 3.

Parents are catching a break for another year with the return of the Florida’s annual tax-free holiday.

School-related purchases in the state will be exempt from Florida’s six percent sales tax on goods bought between Friday, August 1 until Sunday, August 3, according to the state Department of Revenue.

Tax-exempt school supplies include clothing and footwear items each costing $100 or less, personal computers and accessories on the first $750 of the cost of each item, and classroom essentials like pens and notebooks that cost $15 or less.
