A woman who lives nearby told WFLA that while she didn’t hear the shots fired, she heard the sirens approaching the intersection.
“When I looked again, (the victim) was receiving CPR next to the bicycle on the ground. I really thought the cyclist was hit by a car, but now looking back at everything that happened there, I realize it was a shooting,” she said.
Detectives are working with the state attorney’s office on this investigation.
