Hillary Clinton’s Tampa Rally: Ashley Drive Closing Planned
Motorists who travel through downtown Tampa may need to take different routes Wednesday afternoon.

TAMPA, FL — Motorists may want to steer clear of a portion of Ashley Drive Wednesday afternoon as Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton arrives in Tampa. The city has announced a partial closing of Ashley Drive to prepare for the former secretary of state’s visit.
According to the City of Tampa, both northbound and southbound Ashley Drive will be closed to traffic between Cass and Twiggs streets from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Oct. 26.
“Access to the Rivergate Tower Parking Garage will be provided form westbound Twiggs Street,” during that time, the city wrote in a media release.
