  1. A fire at the 1700 block of West Main Street on Thursday has left five residents and 2 dogs homeless. No one was injured in the fire, and it was extinguished within 2 hours by Tampa Fire Rescue. The cause of the fire is now under investigation. (Tampa Patch)

Manatee County Commissioner Vanessa Baugh has been fined $8,000 by the Florida Commission of Ethics for her role in organizing an exclusive COVID-19 vaccination site in February 2021 that drew public outrage as the pandemic killed thousands of Americans a week. Baugh was noticeably unapologetic when she made headlines for securing a closed off vaccine site and remains in office.   4. A Hillsborough County Court judge has ruled against homebuilder Taylor Morrison in a lawsuit over a development in Keystone. The developer will be blocked from selling individual lots to homebuyers until a lawsuit is settled. The residents in the area are currently suing Hillsborough County over the development.   5. Cinnaholic is opening in South Tampa this spring after years of delay. The location was originally planned for 2019. A statement posted on social media states, "We’re still a few months away from opening but trust us, it'll be worth the wait!" (That's So Tampa)
