Kate Beckinsale’s Serial Stalker Arrested In Tampa: Cops
Kate Beckinsale's Tampa appearance was delayed Saturday when a man who once allegedly threatened to stab the "Underworld" star showed up.

TAMPA, FL — A 45-year-old Iowa man faces criminal charges after police say he showed up at Tampa Bay Comic Con to “harass” actress Kate Beckinsale. Saturday’s disruption at the popular event was the third time Terry Lee Repp has run afoul of law enforcement after allegedly stalking the “Underworld” star, authorities say.
According to Tampa Police, the latest in a string of events involving Repp and Beckinsale occurred around 8:15 a.m. July 29 at the Tampa Convention Center. Police say Repp was spotted inside the 333 Franklin St. S. venue prior to Beckinsale’s public appearance. When Beckinsale spotted Repp, her appearance was postponed until later in the evening so she could file a report.

Repp was subsequently arrested on a stalking charge, a police report said.
Tampa Police say in 2016, Repp showed up at a Beckinsale appearance in Salt Lake City, Utah, touched her back and threatening to stab her. He was also removed from an event in Houston, Texas, in 2016.

“The defendant appears to have an irrational obsession with the victim and has traveled across the country in an effort to harass her,” the police report said. Authorities noted that Repp’s actions have caused Beckinsale “substantial emotional distress” and have caused her to fear for her safety.
Repp was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail following his Saturday arrest. He remained there Sunday morning in lieu of $500 bond.
Beckinsale reportedly was unharmed during Saturday's incident. Her appearance took place later in the day.
