Kids Now Have Their Own Outdoor Market
The Kids Market takes place the first Sunday of the month in conjunction with the Hyde Park Village Fresh Market.

If you're heading to the monthly Hyde Park Village Fresh Market this Sunday, July 7, don't forget to bring the kids.
In addition to the open-air market featuring 50 to 70 vendors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the first Sunday of each month, organizers have teamed up with Fit Kids Playground to host the area's first Kids Market.
The Kids Market takes place in the Courtyard Via Way by Downtown Dogs and Color Me Mine and includes 10 spaces for kids to rent and sell products they make themselves.
The Kids Market also features a Fit Kids Playground including hula hoops, bouncy balls, bubbles, chalk and other activities.
Kids are invited to sell their own crafts or baked goods while their parents peruse the selection of fresh produce, handmade jewelry, fresh herbs, gourmet foods and artwork at the Fresh Market.
This Sunday, shoppers will enjoy the original music of Ray Gurka. Gurka, who sings, plays guitar and harmonica, shares personal songs of living, loving and reflecting on everyday life.
