1. Clasico Italian Chophouse has opened at the Westfield Brandon mall from the same team in the long-running Sarasota restaurant. This time the restaurant owners are joining with Chapter 11 Brewpub & Smokehouse along with a Texas pit master for premium in-house cuts of meat on both menus. The new restaurant features a sleek interior, games, entertainment, TVs for sports viewing, and more. (CarlosEats.com)

2. Tampa International Airport is officially celebrating the holiday season now with lights, colors, music and more in airport terminals. Around 20 people spent nine hours last week decorating the entire airport from the Rental Car Center to baggage claim. Guests can enjoy free live entertainment in the Main Terminal most afternoons between Dec. 10 and Christmas Eve, from bell ringers to choral groups. (Tampa Patch)

3. Tampa Bay’s Festival of Lights and Santa’s Village at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds is now underway until Jan. 1, 2023. Guests can enjoy more than 1 million lights that stretch around 2 miles at the venue. The event will host giveback dates for first responders and for veterans throughout the season. (WFLA)

4. Ybor City's first natural wine bar, La Setima, is now open at 1724 N Nebraska Ave. The new bar is owned by Ryan Fouche and Aaron Schaub of Jug + Bottle and Coral Carrasquillo. Opening hours at the concept are Wednesday through Sunday, from 5 p.m. to midnight. (That's So Tampa)

5. Hillsborough County commissioners have selected Republican Commissioner Ken Hagan as their new chairperson. Hagan is most famous being deeply involved in efforts to bring the Tampa Bay Rays across the bridge, including taking campaign contributions and providing secret info on the Rays plans to a major developer.
