Man Found Dead After House Fire On Crenshaw Street In Tampa

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating the death of a man found in a burned-down house Tuesday night on Crenshaw Street.

Tampa police said they were called to a house fire at 11:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Crenshaw Street in Tampa and assisted Tampa Fire Rescue in evacuating residents from the home.

In the process, police discovered the body of a man in the house. The cause of his death is still under investigation but detectives believe this was not a random act of violence.
