Man Found Dead In Vacant Lot Identified
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has identified the 19-year-old man whose body was found in a vacant lot Wednesday.

TAMPA, FL — As Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate the Wednesday discovery of a man’s body in a vacant lot in Tampa, they’ve released some details in the case. Authorities say Geovany Edwin Milla-Murillo, 19, died from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.
Milla-Murillo’s body was found around 1:30 p.m. July 26 in a vacant lot on the corner of 131st and North Taliaferro avenues. Shortly after the discovery, authorities said the death was not natural. They did not elaborate on the cause until Thursday afternoon.

Deputies are now looking for help solving the homicide. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS or by going online to www.crimestopperstb.com.
