Man Hit By Truck, Killed While Crossing U.S. 41: FL Highway Patrol
A Hillsborough County man died after being hit by a truck while crossing U.S. Highway 41, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A Sun City Center man died Tuesday night after being hit by a truck while crossing U.S. Highway 41 in Hillsborough County, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The 58-year-old was crossing the highway south of 4th Avenue Southeast just after 8 p.m. when he stepped into the path of a Ford F150 that was heading north on U.S. 41.
The pedestrian died at the scene, FHP said.

The truck was driven by a 53-year-old Ruskin man.
