TAMPA, FL — A man was injured early Saturday morning in a shooting in Ybor City, authorities said.The Tampa Police Department said the shooting occurred just before 3 a.m. in the 1700 block of East 7th Avenue. According to police, officers directing traffic on 7th Avenue heard a shot fired and immediately responded to where it happened.When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was in stable condition.An investigation by police found the victim and adult male suspect knew each other and were fighting before the shooting. Police did not identify the suspect, but said there is no ongoing threat to the community.The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
