FL Man Accused Of Sexually Battering Woman He Held Against Her Will
A Tampa man was arrested for sexually battering a woman he held against her will at his home, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
TAMPA, FL — A man was arrested after sexually battering a woman at his Tampa home last month, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.
An investigation into 28-year-old Andrew Grant launched July 30 after a victim reached out to the sheriff’s office.
Detectives learned during the investigation that Grant sexually battered the woman and held her against her will at his home, the agency said.

She was eventually able to run from the home and call for help.

Grant was arrested on Aug. 1 and charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment.

"Sexual violence has no place in our community, and we will seek justice for survivors," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "We commend this victim for coming forward so we could remove this predator from our streets."
