Surveillance Video Footag Shows Man Shooting At Car Parked At FL Hotel 9 Times
A gunman was arrested and charged with attempted murder after ambushing a car parked outside a Tampa-area hotel, the sheriff's office said.

RIVERVIEW, FL — A man “is lucky to be alive” after a gunman shot at his car parked outside a Riverview hotel nine times on Friday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. (Watch surveillance camera footage from the shooting below.)
The victim was sitting in his silver Toyota Camry in the parking lot of the Extended Stay at 9321 Everhart Road when the suspect, 37-year-old Jasheed Scatliffe-Kalunda, walked up to the car and started shooting, investigators said.
HCSO’s Gunfire Response Investigations Team responded to reports of a shooting outside the hotel.

Scatliffe-Kalunda was arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder, premeditated firearm discharge, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in public or on a residential property, and shooting at, within, or into a vehicle.
