TikTok Stunt From Alligator Enclosure At Busch Gardens Ends In Arrest

Twenty-year-old Jacob Pursifull snuck into Busch Gardens' alligator enclosure and had a friend video him and post it to TikTok, police said.

TAMPA, FL — The man who authorities said entered a Busch Gardens alligator enclosure on Wednesday and posted the video to TikTok and other social media has been arrested.

Twenty-year-old Jacob Pursifull jumped over a fence to illegally enter the park on the afternoon of June 1. Pursifull and the other two people went to the alligator enclosure, said Tampa police. Pursifull entered the alligator enclosure, while one of the other people recorded the event. The video was then uploaded to social media sites.

Based on the linked social media posts, investigators were able to positively identify and locate Pursifull and issued a probable cause warrant was issued for his arrest.

Detectives arrested Pursifull in the 6500 block of Commerce Palms Drive on Monday evening and charged him with burglary, theft of services and trespass.

Pursifull was charged with burglary, theft of services and trespassing. He remains in the Orient Road Jail on $8,500 bond.
