McDonald’s Hiring 1,000 Workers In Tampa Bay Area
McDonald's locations across the Tampa Bay area are hiring to the tune of 1,000 jobs.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents in search of part- or full-time employment opportunities may want to check out their local McDonald’s. The fast-food chain has announced the kick off of a statewide hiring spree meant to add 5,000 people to its employee roster over the next month. About 1,000 of those jobs are in the Tampa Bay area, officials say.
The 5,000-person statewide spree comes after a major push across Florida to remodel and update older McDonald’s locations. McDonald’s officials say nearly 700 stores across the Sunshine State have been remodeled over the past two years to include such upgrades as side-by-side drive-thrus, table service and self-order kiosks. Some locations even offer delivery now.
