Museum Classes To Teach Kids No-Frills Photography

The Florida Museum of Photographic Art will host photography classes for children this month.

The Florida Museum of Photographic Art, 400 N. Ashley Dr., #200, Tampa, is offering two photography classes for children in July called "Post-Apocalyptic Photography."

Antonio Hernandez will teach children how to take photos without technology like USB cables, batteries and SD cards by imagining what it would be like to document a post-apocalyptic world. They will learn how to create a camera that takes "old-school" photos.

The July 15-19 session is for ages 11-15. The July 22-26 session is for ages 7-10.

The cost per session is $160, or $140 for members.
