New Board Members, Executive Committee Join Friends Of The Riverwalk
Incoming members will help develop, activate and promote Tampa's downtown waterfront.

TAMPA, FL — Friends of the Riverwalk has announced that Elisabeth June of Ashley Furniture Industries has joined the Friends of the Riverwalk Board of Directors.
Representatives of the nonprofit work in partnership with the city of Tampa to help develop, activate and promote Tampa’s downtown waterfront.
“We are excited to expand our board with members who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work,” said Executive Director MaryBeth Williams. “We have worked diligently to ensure the Friends of the Riverwalk board and leadership represents a variety of experts from our community.”

The Friends of the Riverwalk leadership team will be serving the second year of their term.
Officers include David DeVaney, project executive for The Beck Group, as chairman; Anthony Derby, CEO of Florida Avenue Brewing Co., as vice chairman; Dustin Pasteur, vice president of facilities and construction at Tampa General Hospital, as treasurer; and Beth Leytham, president of The Leytham Group, as secretary.

The remaining Friends of the Riverwalk Board of Directors is comprised of Doug Bartley, immediate past chairman and a partner with Commercial Advisory Services; Chris Eastman, president of Eastman Construction Management; Lucia Garsys, infrastructure and development executive for Hillsborough County; Keith Greminger, principal for urban planning and design with Stantec; LaKisha Kinsey-Sallis, partner with Fisher Phillips; Kris Knox, managing director of Splitsville Southern + Social; Jill Manthey, vice president of sales and community relations at Yacht StarShip; Ron McAnaugh, area general manager at JW Marriott/Tampa Marriott Water Street; Amanda Page-Zwierko, director of client relations at Rumbo Cultural Marketing; Kevin Plummer, head of school at Tampa Preparatory School; Stephanie Stanfield, senior vice president of West Florida Area Wealth Executive Regions Bank; Nealy Wheat, CEO of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council; and Peyton Woodroffe, regional business development manager of TLC Engineering Solutions.
Friends of the Riverwalk supports the Tampa Riverwalk in a variety of ways, from hosting its signature event, Riverfest, to seasonal, family-friendly free events including Halloween Trick-or-Treating, the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade, and Independence Day activities. The nonprofit is also involved in ways to support the continued development, expansion and enhancement of the Tampa Riverwalk.
