Here are the top five stories today in Tampa:
1. Hillsborough County students are headed back to school in less than 2 weeks on Wednesday, August 10. The Hillsborough Education Foundation helped teachers shop this past week for free supplies including backpacks, notebooks, pencils and more. All supplies at the "Teaching Tools Resource Center" are donated and contributions can be made online. (ABC Action News)
2. The National Junior College Athletics Association selected 19 Hillsborough Community College (HCC) student athletes for its 2021-22 All-Academic First, Second and Third Teams. The students must excel in both athletics and academics for the distinction. (Tampa Patch)
3. The Tampa Bay Coffee and Art Festival is returning this fall on Saturday, October 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Brandon at 1310 John Moore Road. Tickets are now available. Coffee panels are open to all event attendees and will be hosted by experts in the field. (That's So Tampa)
4. A St. Petersburg man, Darryl Eugene McKinnie, was arrested Saturday after he removed his court-issued ankle monitor, according to deputies. The accused said President Joe Biden told him to cut the ankle monitor off, according to police. (WFLA)
5. Ybor City's Coastal Film Lab is hosting an art show marking its first anniversary on Friday, August 5 at 1704 North Nebraska Avenue. Coastal Film Lab is an "artist focused film processing and scanning lab." (Creative Loafing Tampa)

- Police are looking for a missing Florida woman who was last seen taking a bus from Fort Myers to Tampa. Erica Ann Johnson, 36, was reported missing July 14. (WFLA)
- MOSI's Science After Dark is having it's 60th anniversary 60s party on Friday, August 26. Ages 18 and up are welcome from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Twitter)
