Here are the top stories today in Tampa:
1. Tampa philanthropist Ben Meng of iGas USA has donated $25,000 to the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The donation will help fund the "Literacy Through Photography Program" at the museum. Today for Giving Tuesday, donations will go toward the same program. (Tampa Patch)

2. The 7th Avenue archway lights in Ybor City are being renovated with support from local businesses in the area. The Ybor City CRA and the City of Tampa are joining forces for the project, which will also be more environmentally sustainable. The project is expected to take about two weeks to finish. 3. The battle between suspended Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis kicks off today in court. A judge ruled last week that DeSantis will be exempt from testifying in the trial over whether he illegally removed Warren from office without cause. The trial begins at 9 a.m. with Judge Robert Hinkle, a Clinton appointee, presiding. (ABC Action News)
4. Jade at North Hyde Park has announced that the $46 million luxury development located at 608 N. Willow Ave. is nearly fully leased. An expansion of a local ramen chain and coffee shop is planned for the location. Tampa has experienced record rent growth during the pandemic as people flock to Florida. (Tampa Patch)
5. Ponte Modern American, a new concept from well-known Tampa Chef Chris Ponte, is now open at Midtown Tampa. The new restaurant resides at 1010 Gramercy Lane and is now taking reservations. The cuisine is described as "modern American" food fare. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
