Seffner Man Arrested In Hit-And-Run Crash: Deputies
The woman was struck by an unknown vehicle as she walked along the east edge of the roadway.
TAMPA, FL - Hillsborough County deputies have arrested Henry Earl Riner, 71, of Seffner in connection with a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Nov. 10, deputies said. A Crime Stoppers tip led to the discovery of a 1966 Chevrolet truck recently painted black with damage consistent with the collision that killed Linda Fisher, 46, of Seffner, deputies said.
Fisher died after she was struck by a vehicle while walking on Black Dairy Road, deputies said. The vehicle fled the scene. Fisher was struck as she walked along the east edge of the roadway.
Fisher’s body was found in a ditch on the east side of the roadway. Evidence at the scene indicated the vehicle could be orange or red in color, deputies said on Nov. 10.
