- 🏈 Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been suspended without pay for one game after fighting with the Saints on Sunday.
- 🏥 A worker was seriously injured on Monday when an empty cement truck crashed into a SunPass toll booth.
- ⚖️ Tallahassee Judge Robert Hinkle rejected a request to reinstate suspended State Attorney Andrew Warren to office as the legal battle continues between Warren and Governor DeSantis.

Here are the top five stories in Tampa today:
1. Florida District Judge Robert Hinkle on Monday rejected a request from suspended State Attorney Andrew Warren to reinstate him and overturn Governor Ron DeSantis' move to suspend him from office over a pledge he made not to prosecute on abortion. Hinkle noted several times that Warren was an elected official and not a mere "employee" of the government. (Florida Politics)
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been suspended without pay for one game after Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, the National Football League announced. The wide receiver will return to the field on Monday, September 26, following the team's game against the Green Bay Packers. (WTSP)
3. Tallahassee-based Ology Brewing is opening in Seminole Heights this weekend at 6401 North Florida Avenue, Friday to Sunday, September 23-25. It will feature craft beer on tap, liquor and beer to-go, cocktails and food trucks as well. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
4. A worker was seriously injured Monday after an empty cement tanker crashed into a SunPass toll plaza and another vehicle, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). One toll plaza worker was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries. Two people in a passenger vehicle were also transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. (WFLA)
5. Tampa police arrested a 13-year-old student who police said lit a classmate's clothing on fire on Sept. 14. The incident occurred at North Tampa Alternative School at 8602 North Armenia Avenue. The accused student was charged with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and disruption of a school function. (Tampa Patch)
