Tampa Bay Buccaneers Help Welcome Back Eat at Joe’s
The popular lunchtime event in downtown Tampa will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month as well.

TAMPA, FL – Fire the cannons! Eat at Joe’s is set to make its way back to downtown Tampa this week – with the help of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Joe Chillura Courthouse Square will once again transform into a lunchtime party on Friday, Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eat at Joe’s welcomes downtown workers, residents and guests to bring their lunch or buy it from a local restaurant or food truck to spend part of their afternoon in the park.
The park is located at the corner of Pierce Street and Kennedy Boulevard.

This month’s event will celebrate two things: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers season opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 11 and Hispanic Heritage Month.

- The Bucs’ Street Team RV, featuring 75-inch and 65-inch Smart TVs, including Xbox One and a stadium-themed home theater
- The new Bucs Squad Experience, a hands-on, interactive play park where you can play like the pros
- Buccaneers Cheerleaders and mascot, Captain Fear
- A chance to enter to win Buccaneers items
- The announcement of the Hispanic All-Star, a Hillsborough County employee who worked to enhance the quality of life for Hispanic people and others
- Food trucks
- Latin music, dancing and more
Eat at Joe’s is a partnership among Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation, the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa and the Tampa Downtown Partnership. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers area also partnering in the September event.
