Tampa Bay Workweek Weather: Slight Rain Chances Return
Find out what's in store in the weather department as Election and Veterans Day week continues.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who have lost track of their umbrellas since dry conditions settled in a few weeks ago might want to find them. Slight chances for rain have creeped back into the forecast for the week ahead.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday is anticipated to kick off the week with mostly sunny skies and a high in the low 80s in the counties in and around the Tampa Bay area. The overnight low is expected to drop to a cool 62 degrees in much of the region with partly cloudy skies.
Election Day, Tuesday Nov. 8 should be a bright and sunny one. Forecasters at the weather service say the day’s high should reach the low 80s. While the weather service isn’t forecasting strong chances for rain, The Weather Channel warns a few drops may fall with a 10 percent chance in its forecast.

The overnight weather Tuesday is expected to be mostly cloudy with a low in the low to mid-60s in much of the region.
Wednesday is expected to kick off with partly sunny conditions and a high in the upper 70s in much of the region. Rain chances are present in the afternoon hours, according to the weather service. There’s about a 20 percent chance for showers in the afternoon hours. Those chances persist heading into the evening when a low in the lower 60s is also expected.

Thursday is anticipated to bring a return of mostly sunny conditions and a high in the upper 70s to much of the region. There’s a slight chance of showers during the day. Overnight, mostly clear skies are expected with a low in the upper 50s in the forecast.
Veterans Day Friday is expected to be bright and sunny with a high in the upper 70s forecast. Mostly clear skies with a low around 60 degrees are anticipated in the overnight hours.
Severe weather conditions are not expected in the week ahead. As for the weekend, forecasters anticipate mostly sunny days with highs in the upper 70s.
