Tampa Fire Rescue Visits Preschool For National Safety Month
Tampa Fire Rescue, Station 22 wrapped up National Safety Month (June) by visiting students at Primrose School of Cross Creek this week.

NEW TAMPA, FL — Tampa Fire Rescue, Station 22 wrapped up National Safety Month (June) by visiting students at Primrose School of Cross Creek.
The firefighters taught students what it’s like to be a firefighter, including the gear they wear, the different parts of the fire engine, and when to call 911.

An annual observance in the United States, National Safety Month allows individuals and organizations to teach others the importance of things like fire safety and starting this education at an early age can help reduce the leading causes of unintentional injury at school or work, on the road and in the community.

Students toured the team’s firetruck, dressed up in helmets and showed their gratitude to the local firefighters by creating a “thank you for being our lifesavers" sign.
