Tampa Hit-And-Run Driver Sought By Troopers
A Monday morning hit and run crash on I-75 near Fletcher Avenue sent a woman to the hospital.

TAMPA, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is on the hunt for a driver involved in a Monday morning hit-and-run on Interstate 75 near Fletcher Avenue.
According to the patrol, a sedan was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 around 8:45 a.m. July 3. As that vehicle moved in the center outside lane, a Nissan Altima driven by Iesha Thompson, 25, was heading south in the center inside lane.

Troopers say the driver of the unknown sedan made an abrupt lane change and hit the right side of Thompson’s Altima. The Altima hit a guardrail while the other driver “fled the scene of the crash,” a highway patrol report said.
Thompson was hospitalized following the crash with injuries that are described as minor.

Troopers are now looking for a dark-colored sedan. No further descriptive information is available.
