1. Recently removed Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren has filed a lawsuit against Governor Ron DeSantis. The lawsuit asks a judge to compel the governor to rescind his "illegal order," restore Warren to office and prohibit DeSantis from taking similar "illegal actions against Warren in the future." 2. A July 2022 housing report released by RE/MAX shows Tampa's housing inventory has jumped 134% and closed transactions have fallen 23.4% as the housing market begins to show signs of cooling off amid higher prices and rising interest rates. Median housing in Tampa has risen to $377,260. (ABC Action News)
3. Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a homeless man accused of committing a homicide in Tampa on Sunday. Deputies say they discovered a man dead of upper-body trauma at 1:45 a.m. in the 7400 block of Mohawk Avenue. (Tampa Patch)
4. Ybor City's The Loft, previously known as Cerealholic Café and Bar, is closing its doors permanently this weekend. The bar was known for appearing on "Bar Rescue." Owners Lisa and Darrell Lawson say they need personal time to focus on family and will close out with a Sunday drag brunch. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
5. La Setima natural wine bar is opening soon in Ybor City at 1724 North Nebraska Avenue. The wine bar is expected to have a full vegan kitchen. An opening is planned for fall 2022. (That's So Tampa, Creative Loafing Tampa)

- The Florida Senate gave suspended Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren 15 days to request a Senate hearing from Monday that could determine whether he is ultimately reinstated or removed from office. (Fox 13)
