Tampa Man Killed In Overnight Fire
A Tampa man died when a fire ripped through his home Tuesday night.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police and fire rescue officials are investigating a blaze that tore through a home Tuesday night, claiming the life of a 60-year-old man.
According to the Tampa Police Department, fire rescue was called to a home in the 4500 block of 41st Street around 9:44 p.m. May 16. Fire crews found the home fully engulfed when they arrived.
Police say firefighters found Timothy Dewitt Williams inside the home, suffering from fire-related injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead, a Wednesday morning email from police said.

Authorities say no signs of foul play have been found. The fire and death, however, remain under investigation.
