Tampa Police To Host Car Seat Safety Check Event Saturday
The Tampa Police Dept. has certified child passenger safety techs who can provide and/or install child safety seats for residents in need.
TAMPA, FL — Not sure how to safely secure your little one in its car seat? The Tampa Police Department can help with that.
The department will host a child seat safety check-up event this Saturday.
The event will take place at the Tampa Police Department at 9330 N. 30th St. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Certified child passenger safety techs will be on hand to provide and/or install child safety seats for residents in need.
Child safety seats are provided on a “first come, first served” basis and are only available monthly while the supply of child safety seats remain in stock.

According to Tampa police, if you already have a child safety seat and would like instruction on how to install it, appointments can be made for our Child Passenger Safety Technicians to provide caregiver(s) with guidance on child safety seat information and proper installation.
